About Right Care

Melania ('Melanie') Garcia

Right Care Co-Founder

Melanie brings a most unique kind of perspective to co-founding Right Care. Having beaten cancer in her teens, she brings compassion, empathy and an acute understanding of her patients’ condition rarely found in a care giver. Based on her own life experience, Melanie fully grasps how critical the role of care giver can be and has dedicated her life to having an impact on the people for whom she is responsible. To participate in the health of a patient and have a positive influence on their speedy return to a full and functioning life is Melanie’s essential goal for Right Care.

Since earning her VN (Vocational Nursing) and CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) designations in 2006 and 2008 respectively, Melanie has been devoted to the health of her patients. Her passion for the wellbeing of those in her care has contributed to a set of core beliefs that includes treating her patients as she would a member of her own family.

Melanie has worked with patients in an assisted living facility treating those with dementia as well as providing general in-home care. Her hospital experience includes working in the Critical Care Department, as well as routine patient care like dispensing the proper medications, wound care and physical assessments.

Melanie takes great pride in the accomplishments of her career and cites the recovery of previous patients as her ultimate professional achievement. It is with this energy - to positively affect a life the way that others did for her – that drives Melanie, validates her core beliefs and informs her actions every day at Right Care.
